Local Author Signing at Area Bookstores

GRANTS PASS, ORE. (Jan. 4, 2024) — Local author Erin Zelinka will be signing copies of her top-ranking memoir, On Love and Travel, at two area bookstores.
On Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, from 7-8 p.m., she will present and sign at Bloomsbury Books in Ashland, located at 290 E Main St.
On Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., she will sign at Oregon Books & Games in Grants Pass, located at 150 NE E St.
On Love and Travel is Zelinka’s true story of divorce and heartbreak followed by solo travels and sailing through Latin America.
“This young author speaks with authority and passion, managing a personal viewpoint that is ultimately a universal, relatable reading companion,” writes Philip Newton, local author of the book Terrane and various published poems. “Hers is a rare voice, evoking time and place with deftness and authenticity.”
Both Bloomsbury Books and Oregon Books & Games have paperback copies of On Love and Travel in stock, for those who prefer to shop locally.
The book is also available as a paperback or ebook on Amazon, where it ranked as a 2023 #1 New Release in the Travel Writing category. It is currently rated 4.8 out of 5 stars.
Zelinka graduated from North Valley High School in 2003 and from University of Oregon in 2007, where she earned degrees in journalism and Spanish. She has since published articles in Outpost Travel and various Southern Oregon publications while working as a communications professional for entities ranging from law enforcement to a Fortune 500 company.
Zelinka has traveled to 31 countries and has lived for longer periods in Puerto Rico, Colombia, Peru, Australia and Portugal. She currently resides in Southern Oregon and is working on the sequel to On Love and Travel.
